When a mysterious stranger appears and promises to bring rain to a drought-stricken family in the West--for a hundred dollars!--little do they know that their plain daughter is about to find love. While the men of the household bang drums to break the clouds in the sky, the stranger turns his charms on the girl, and helps her to find a very real beauty of her own. The rain, of course, does come, and so does love.
