This is the fourth year of the annual cook-off, and there are some exciting changes to the event, including a new venue. The cook-off will take place at the Wolverine State Brewing Company in Ann Arbor, and, in addition, there will be a 50/50 raffle. “We’re thrilled to be able to host the event at the Wolverine State Brewing Company,” says fundraising chair, Joyce Casale. “There are so many great local brew pubs, and it’s fun to try new beers at a new location. The folks at Wolverine have been wonderful to work with, and the space is ideal for the event. This year, we will have a live-auction of special, one-of-a-kind items instead of a silent auction, and we have decided to hold a 50/50 raffle, as well. What will stay the same, however, are the great chili offerings, local foodies judging the chili, (Gratzi’s chef John Fischer, Beezy’s Café chef Theresa Rickloff, and food-blogger and columnist Mary Bilyeu), the beer-tastings, and the fun!” BUY RAFFLE TICKETS TO OUR 50/50 RAFFLE, TO BE DRAWN AT THE CHILI COOK-OFF! |
