Ann Arbor Civic Theatre and the Firefly Club present a benefit show: Steppin' Out V: Civic Does the Season Wednesday, December 19 at the Firefly Club, 637 S. Main St. , two blocks south of downtown Ann Arbor . Tickets are $15 each for general admission & $25 for reserved seating. Tickets are available at the Ann Arbor Civic Theatre box office, 322 W. Ann St. , by calling the office at 734-971-2228, or at the door of the Firefly before each performance. Doors open at 7pm and the show begins at 8pm . Civic Does the Season rings in the holidays with classic and not-so classic tunes including favorites from Rudolf the Red Nosed Reindeer, How the Grinch Stole Christmas , and A Charlie Brown Christmas . A2CT's finest performers will be on hand as well as guest performers with a special multi-song preview of A2CT's upcoming production of Bat Boy: The Musical. “This show is all about the season,” says co-producer Matt Steward.” “We will, of course, have some of the standard holiday fare, but we want to mix it up with the newer, funnier tunes not usually seen on holiday song lists,” continues co-producer Rachel Francisco. Civic Does the Season's Emcee is Lexi Harris, and the talented cast includes Matt Steward, Emily and Matt Rogers, Tom Steppe, Anne & Dick Bauman, Monika Swartout-Bebow, Caitlin and Dave Rowe, Bob Skon, Marci Rosenberg, Melanie Hearsch, Jean Leverich, Sara & Bethany Rydzewski, Brian Hilligoss, Suzi Peterson, Leo Babcock, Kathy Waugh, Pat Persons, and Susie Berneis.

 

A2CT is thrilled to present Civic Does the Season at The Firefly's new location on South Main St . With ample parking and plenty of seating, The Firefly's new digs are a perfect place to celebrate the season.

 

Proceeds from Steppin' Out V: Civic Does the Season go to Ann Arbor Civic Theatre, one of the country's oldest and most successful community theaters. A2CT produces dramas, comedies, classics, and musicals. Its youth program, Junior Theatre, provides low-cost opportunities for area youth to participate in and experience live theater.
