Ann Arbor Civic Theatre has been producing shows for more than 80 years. Perhaps an even more amazing fact is that nearly all of the people who have kept A2CT going all those decades—both behind the scenes and on stage—are volunteers. Ann Arbor Civic Theatre is always looking for new people to help out, and you may be wondering….. "How can I participate?"

Serve on A2CT’s Board of Directors.  Board members serve 2-3 year terms and are either elected or appointed.  Board meetings take place once a month.  If you wish to serve on the A2CT Board, contact the office at 734/971-0605 for further information or fill out a participation form. Committees include Board Development, Facilities, Finance, Fundraising, Marketing, Play Selection, and Technology. committees.  More information at 734/971-0605 or on the participation form.

Direct a show next season. Contact office staff at 734-971-0605 to find out when we are accepting applications.

Volunteer online to help with fundraising, pitch in for a special event, or assist the office staff.

Usher and see A2CT shows for free!
Ann Arbor Civic Theatre is always in need of ushers, and now that we've moved to two larger venues, the need is even more acute. If you want to see a Civic show anyway, why not consider ushering for us? Sign up by clicking the link above.  Then you will be asked to arrive 45 minutes before show time for a quick orientation, seat people according to their tickets, monitor the doors during intermission, and help pick up dropped programs after the show. That's it, and you get to see a wonderful night of theatre for free!
