A2CT Announces Audition Camp for Youth

Ann Arbor Civic Theatre will conduct a one-week camp for youth in grades 4-12 to learn how to audition for youth and adult theatrical productions. The camp will run August 20-24 from 1-4pm at A2CT’s rehearsal studio at 322 W. Ann St., near downtown Ann Arbor. Tuition is $120 and scholarships are available. Led by local actress and director Valerie Wilkinson, this camp will cover auditioning for straight shows as well as musicals and will focus on song preparation, improvisation, cold readings, monologues and more. Camp participants will receive individual and group instruction, and will have the option to participate in mock auditions with feedback from real directors.
