synopsis
When a big-city rock star hurtles into a small town in Ohio, sparks fly. Teen sweetheart, Kim, of Sweet Apple, Ohio, has been chosen for a last kiss before Conrad Birdie, the most popular rock ‘n’ roll legend of his time, leaves for the Army. The impending visit pits parents against kids and old values against new ideas. With songs like “Put on a Happy Face” and “A Lot of Livin’ to Do”, Bye, Bye, Birdie has become one of the most beloved musical comedies of all time.
