Perhaps nothing touches our imagination more deeply than a story that begins with those four magic words, “once upon a time…” Stephen Sondheim and James Lapine set out to re-dream these stories of our childhood and to explore what really happens after “happily ever after…” The result is the enchanting Into the Woods , with which Ann Arbor Civic Theatre proudly opens its 2008-2009 season.
