It Takes a Village to Build a Community…
For nearly a century, the magic on our stage has been powered by people like you.
In a world that can often feel disconnected, theatre is our remedy. For nearly 100 years, Ann Arbor Civic Theatre has been run primarily by volunteers. To bring exceptional stories to life and keep our organization operationally strong, it takes hundreds of neighbors giving thousands of hours of their time.
When we transition from "I" to "We," remarkable things happen. Whether it’s stitching a costume seam, coordinating next season's classes, organizing props, or keeping our facilities clean and accessible, every single role builds social connection. We don't just put on a show—we sustain a vibrant, face-to-face community.
There are more than a dozen ways to find your place and build our civic fabric at A2CT! If you aren’t sure where to start, take our “Get Involved” Quiz to discover the path that best matches your interests and skills.
