Since 1929, Ann Arbor Civic Theatre (A2CT) has been your community’s creative home—bringing stories to life, fostering local talent, and celebrating the magic of live theatre.
The Challenge: Did you know that ticket sales, camp registrations, and workshop fees only cover a portion of our operating costs? In our last fiscal year, while earned income accounted for 46% of our total expenditures, we rely on the generosity of local partners and individual donors like you to bridge the gap and fund the remaining 54%.

Empower the Next Generation: Expand the reach of our youth programming like Junior Theatre, classes, camps and workshops while keeping them affordable and accessible.
Nurture Local Talent & Volunteers: Provide our hundreds of local actors, directors, designers, and crew members with professional-grade rehearsal spaces, costuming, set materials, and technical equipment.
Deliver Diverse, High-Quality Art: Produce five-six exceptional mainstage and studio shows each season (from October’s Jekyll & Hyde to intimate studio dramas like Skeleton Crew) at venues like the Arthur Miller Theatre and our own Ann Street Studio.
Foster a Vibrant Community: Maintain Ann Arbor's oldest and longest-running community theatre group as an economic and cultural catalyst, enriching the downtown area and encouraging connection.
