Laugh Lab: Improv for Youth

You may have experience performing in plays or musicals—memorizing lines, learning choreography, and bringing a script to life on stage. That structured process is one of the great joys of theater. But what happens when there’s no script at all?

Improvisation invites you to create in the moment. It’s about quick thinking, bold choices, and trusting your instincts. What might sound intimidating at first quickly becomes energizing and hilarious as you discover how much fun it is to make something up on the spot.

This class will begin with simple exercises and gradually build toward more advanced games and techniques, helping you grow as a confident, creative performer. Along the way, you’ll explore playful challenges, unexpected scenarios, and imaginative prompts designed to stretch your creativity and keep everyone laughing.

In improv, anything can happen—and that’s exactly the point.
